Week 4 Reflections

This week we dove into the world of lesson planning and lesson writing. We discussed the traditional way of writing a lesson and also the writing a lesson plan using the ASSURE model. This a guide for planning and conducting instruction that uses media. It has six steps which are represented by the acronym ASSURE which stands for:
Analyze learners
State objectives
Select media and materials
Utilize media and materials
Require learner participation
Evaluate and revise
